Grayest of Days
James Dinsmore
On the grayest of days,
I stand quite amazed
At what the Lord has done;
On the grayest of days,
I extend my praise,
For my life has just begun.
In the depth of the night,
I retain my sight
Because my Master’s there;
With His words burning bright
The darkness becomes light,
For He is everywhere.
For my greatest confusion,
I know the solution;
The Word is my guide;
And all the world’s pollution
Can’t mar my salvation,
For He is on my side.
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1 KJV
